The Indian government has increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders by 29 INR. In Delhi, the cost of a 14.2 kg cylinder has risen from 913 INR to 942 INR. This marks the second price hike in the last three months, following a 60 INR increase on March 7. The hike is attributed to geopolitical tensions in West Asia and volatility in the global energy market, placing an additional burden on domestic household budgets.
