The Devasnana Purnima rituals were traditionally observed at the Siddha Baladevjew Temple in Kendrapara and Jagannath Temple in Deogarh. After the ceremonial bath, the deities appeared in the 'Hati Besha' (Elephant attire) for devotees. Following the ritual, the deities have entered the 'Anasara' room (sickroom) for 15 days as they are believed to be suffering from fever. During this period, representative paintings will be worshipped. The deities will reappear for the public on Netrotsava, followed by the Rath Yatra on July 16.
