The Odisha government is working to simplify the MSME registration process to boost the state's economy. MSME Secretary Rashmita Panda announced that a meeting with stakeholders will be held soon. Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain emphasized the role of MSMEs in achieving a 'Prosperous Odisha' by 2036 and requested a database mapping MSME needs near large-scale industries. Currently, Odisha has over 14 lakh MSMEs.
