Residents of Barasar and Govindpur panchayats in Bhadrak district staged a mass protest in front of Pirhat police station demanding security. The protest followed a dispute over a road blockage in Tiadisahi village, where residents were allegedly harassed and threatened by relatives of the person blocking the road.
