The Democratic Teachers' Front (DTF) Punjab has condemned the arrest of unemployed teachers in Sangrur. They are demanding the unconditional release of 12 activists, including 5 women, belonging to the 5994 Backlog Unemployed Teachers Union. The union has been protesting for 4 years to complete the recruitment process. Recent arrests occurred during the Education Minister's visit to Sangrur and at a protest site in Dhuri where a candidate has climbed a mobile tower. DTF urged the government to stop suppressing democratic rights and fulfill recruitment promises. https://www.punjabitribuneonline.com/news/sangrur/punjab-teachers-arrested-dtf-outraged-over-arrest-of-unemployed-teachers-demands-immediate-unconditional-release-of-12-colleagues-including-5-girls/ #Creator program
