A fire broke out due to a short circuit at Gurdwara Dhabsar Sahib in village Jassi Pauwali, Bathinda, during a dust storm on Thursday evening. While the Guru Granth Sahib's 'Saroops' were safely rescued by alert attendants, the 'Rumala Sahibs' of four Saroops were damaged. Jathedar Baba Tek Singh of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib visited the site and summoned the management committee for an explanation on June 14.
