The Central Government has issued new guidelines for LPG and PNG consumers to prevent subsidy misuse. Households having both PNG and LPG connections must surrender their LPG connection within 30 days, or it will be cancelled. Only one LPG connection is allowed per household using a single kitchen. Consumers surrendering extra connections can upgrade to a Double Bottle Connection (DBC).
