A 28-year-old youth named G. Raja died in Ganjam district after accidentally stepping on a crude bomb planted by poachers to hunt wild animals. The incident occurred while he was grazing pigs near a pond in Mathura village. He suffered severe injuries to his legs and waist and succumbed during treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
