Today Revelation Meditation : 20/01/2026 The book of Revelation Explanation Post -204 XVII.3 (4) “He swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it.” (Revelation 10:7) Beloved holy people of the Lord, the angel of God who lifted his hand straight toward heaven swore by God the Father—who created heaven, earth, and sea and everything in them, and who lives forever and ever—declaring that “there will be no more delay in time” for the fulfillment of the mystery of God. In many places in the Bible, we see the God of gods Himself swearing an oath. “Because you have obeyed My voice, in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed. And the Lord said, I have sworn by Myself.” (Genesis 22:18) “I lift up My hand to heaven and declare: As surely as I live forever…” (Deuteronomy 32:40) “When God made His promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for Him to swear by, He swore by Himself, saying, ‘Surely I will bless you and multiply you.’” (Hebrews 6:13–14) All the above holy Scriptures reveal to us that the God of gods swears by Himself and by His own name. In order to satisfy mankind—who often doubts and refuses to believe—God humbles Himself like a man and confirms His word with an oath. Likewise, concerning the proclaimed “mystery of God,” the oath declared by the Bridegroom through His angel makes it clear that there will be no more time or delay for the moment of His secret coming. Today Revelation Meditation : 19/01/2026 The book of Revelation Explanation Post -203 XVII.3 (3) “There should be time no longer, but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.” (Revelation 10:6) Beloved holy people of the Lord, “Holy and true Lord, how long dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season. (Revelation 6:10–11) “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 1:3) “Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.” (Revelation 22:10) In the above Scriptures of the Lord, we understand that when the fifth seal was opened during the first three and a half years of the tribulation period of the Antichrist, the souls of those who were slain for the name of the Lord and for the word of their testimony cried out. In response to their prayer, God Almighty said, “that they should rest yet for a little season.” In many places in the book of Revelation we read that “the time is at hand” and that “there should be time no longer.” In the Greek language, the word chronos is used. In English it is rendered as “no longer time” or “no longer delay.” In God’s eternity there is no distinction of past, present, and future; eternity is a timeless state, as we know. Concerning the secret coming of Christ Jesus, we read in the epistle to the Hebrews: “For yet a little while, and He that shall come will come, and will not tarry.” (Hebrews 10:37) “Beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:8–9) Beloved holy people of the Lord, The above Scriptures make it clear to us that our loving Lord Jesus has been patiently waiting for about two thousand years concerning His secret coming. According to God’s divine purpose, He waits with great patience so that not even one soul, foreordained and redeemed, should perish, but that all may be prepared to attain the final transformation into the glory of salvation. To fulfill this divine plan, the God of glory came into this world. “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew him not.” (John 1:9–10) The loving Redeemer Jesus, who came to dwell among men to redeem mankind, was rejected by the world and by men. “He came unto His own, and his own received him not.” (John 1:11) Even the Jews, who knew the Scriptures, refused to accept Jesus the Redeemer as the Messiah and crucified Him. “The church of God, which He hath purchased with His own blood.” (Acts 20:28) Our Lord Jesus the Savior, being God Almighty, established the church by shedding His own blood and gathered a people redeemed by His spotless blood. Yet, according to the word of the Lord: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20) In the last days, Jesus is seen as One who has been pushed outside the church. “Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”(Acts 3:21) According to this word of the Lord, since all the prophecies spoken by the prophets have reached their fulfillment, and since the time of the sounding of the seventh angel’s trumpet is drawing near, the angel declares, “There should be time no longer.” (Revelation 10:6) “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” (1 Corinthians 15:51–53) “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.” (Romans 11:25–27) “That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.” (Colossians 2:2) “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.” (2 Thessalonians 2:7) “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.”(Ephesians 1:10) “This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” (Ephesians 5:32) Beloved holy people of the Lord, All the divine plans in the Bible concerning the secret coming of the Lord relate to the last days. Until the appointed time of revelation, these truths have been kept hidden by God through the Spirit of truth. In general, a “mystery” refers to a truth that was not previously revealed. A mystery is the hidden will of God. Unless God Himself reveals His mysteries, no one can understand them. No one can discover divine mysteries through worldly wisdom or human research. The apostle Paul, being in the Spirit, received by the Spirit the divine mysteries concerning the last days and was granted special grace to declare them to the church. (Romans 11:15; 1 Corinthians 15:50–51; 2 Thessalonians 2:7; Ephesians 1:10; Ephesians 5:32; Ephesians 6:19–20; Colossians 2:2; 1 Timothy 3:9–16) In the ministry of Christ, Apostle I. Today Revelation Meditation : 14/01/2026 The book of Revelation Explanation Post -202 XVII.3 (2) “Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.” (Revelation 10:5) Beloved children of God, the apostle John had once personally seen Jesus walking on the sea in the fourth watch of the night (Mark 6:48). Now, according to Revelation 10:5, John sees a mighty angel standing with one foot on the sea and the other on the land. He also sees this angel raising his hand straight toward heaven. Dear saints of God, when God’s holy people swear an oath or make a solemn declaration, it has been a practice from ancient times, as seen in Scripture, to raise their hands toward heaven, calling God Himself as witness to their words. Abraham, the patriarch, says, “I raise my hand to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth” (Genesis 14:22). Likewise, in Daniel we read about “the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven” (Daniel 12:7). In accordance with these principles found in the holy Word of the Lord, we can understand that the mighty angel of God also raised his hands toward heaven while making his declaration.
