Avita👑 on Instagram: "Long ago, there lived a powerful and egoistic demon king named Hiranyakashipu. He had performed severe penance and obtained a special boon from Lord Brahma: he could not be killed by any man or animal, neither indoors nor outdoors, neither during the day nor at night, and by no weapon. Blinded by this power, he declared himself God and ordered everyone in his kingdom to worship only him. However, his own son, Prahlad, became an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. No matter how much Hiranyakashipu threatened him, Prahlad kept chanting, "Om Namo Narayanaya." Infuriated by his son's defiance, the king tried to kill Prahlad in several ways—throwing him off a cliff, trampling him with elephants, and exposing him to poisonous snakes—but Lord Vishnu protected his young devotee every single time. In a final attempt, Hiranyakashipu called his sister, Holika, who possessed a divine shawl that protected her from fire. She sat in a blazing bonfire with Prahlad on her lap. But due to Prahlad's pure devotion, the wind blew the shawl away from Holika and wrapped it around Prahlad. Holika burned to ashes, while Prahlad emerged completely unharmed. This event is celebrated today as Holi. Losing his patience, Hiranyakashipu dragged Prahlad to his palace assembly, pointed at a stone pillar, and mocked, "If your Vishnu is everywhere, is he in this pillar?" Prahlad calmly replied, "Yes, Father, He resides everywhere." In a rage, the king struck the pillar with his mace. The pillar shattered with a deafening roar, and Lord Vishnu emerged in his fierce Narasimha Avatar—a half-man, half-lion incarnation to respect Brahma's boon. Narasimha dragged the demon king to the threshold of the palace (neither indoors nor outdoors), placed him on his lap (neither on earth nor in the sky), during the twilight hour (neither day nor night), and tore him apart with his sharp claws (using no weapons). The cosmic balance was restored, proving that absolute devotion always triumphs over arrogance, and the Lord always protects those who surrender to Him. Hashtags: #LordVishnu #BhaktPrahlad #NarasimhaAvatar #VishnuPuran #IndianMythology SpiritualStories Devotion"
