More details here 👇😍 This was Ratangad Fort four years ago. We did this trek in October, when the monsoon had almost ended in Maharashtra. But luckily, we were welcomed with incredible weather, endless cloud beds, and lush green landscapes. It remains one of the most memorable treks of my life, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. 📍 How to Reach Ratangad Fort by Public Transport (from Mumbai) 🚆 Take a local train to Kasara Railway Station. 🚙 Outside the station, you’ll find shared jeeps and taxis. Most of them head towards Nashik, but if you’re lucky, you may find one going directly to Ratanwadi or Samrad Village, the two base villages for Ratangad Fort. Getting a direct vehicle is usually difficult, so here’s the easier route: • Take a shared jeep towards Rajur or Bari Village (the base village of Kalsubai Peak). • Get down at Varangushi Phata. • From there, take another shared jeep to Shendi Village. • From Shendi, take a jeep to Ratanwadi or Samrad Village.
