No man ever steps in the same river twice, and no artist can ever recreate the same colour.
From the dawn of time, we’re in an unstated agreement with the universe’s true nature that nothing lasts forever, and everything eventually comes to an end. By design, flux is the architecture. We can see traces of this design in our everyday lives, from cellular turnover in our bodies to the shifting tectonic plates. Yet, we still fail to accept the obvious. Now tell me, is it not self-evident to oppose this force is nothing but to create your own agony?

It was so cold that day, even snowballs came to life, and I was fortunate enough to run into one!

My research into Jus Cogens (a topic of public international law) has led me to an interesting personal discovery. Judges while settling issues of international law often go beyond legal positivism to invoke the universality of natural law, meaning there is a realm of uncodified moral rules which connects to human reality. In Shaktism, a branch of Hindu theology, Devi Durga is revered as the embodiment of intelligence and conscience residing within all living beings. This intelligence and conscience enable one to recognise and feel that they have been wronged. Not every wrong can be defined by law. However, because Devi resides in us all, people have an inherent sense of justice that allows them to comprehend their own wrongdoings and the wrongs inflicted upon them.
