A tipper carrying cement from Ludhiana collided with a tractor-trolley loaded with paddy straw on the Pathankot bypass late at night, causing a major commotion. The tipper driver alleged that the tractor driver, reportedly intoxicated, suddenly cut his vehicle, leading to the crash and a tyre burst that caused a loss of around ₹50,000. Police reached the spot, cleared the highway, and took both drivers to the police station, stating action will be taken if no settlement is reached.
