ಮತ್ತಾಯ 26:53-54
[53] ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರೆನೆಂದೂ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಈಗಲೇ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗಣಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ದೇವದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನೆನಸುತ್ತೀಯಾ?
[54] ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಂಥಿಂಥದು ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂಬುವ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದ ಮಾತುಗಕು ನೆರವೇರುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

[53] Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
[54] But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”
