On 28 May 2026, BJP national president Nitin Nabin arrived in Dehradun for a three day visit to Uttarakhand, where he was welcomed by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and state BJP leaders.
Multiple reports confirmed that his convoy moving from Jolly Grant Airport through Dehradun included around 35 vehicles, which became a topic of political debate after social media posts claimed it was done under a “fuel conservation” protocol.
During the visit, Nabin attended BJP organisational meetings focused on preparations for the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections and interacted with party workers and leaders. #dehradun
