Boy’s Doctor Dream Gets Army Boost
Sahil Shafi, a meritorious student from
Darbgam village in Pulwama district, has emerged as a symbol of hope and
determination in South Kashmir. Born into a financially weak family, Sahil
scored an impressive 498 marks in his Class 10 examinations, proving that
talent can shine even in adversity. With his father working as a daily-wage
labourer and limited resources at home, continuing education was a major
challenge. Recognising Sahil’s hard work and dedication, the Indian Army’s 44
Rashtriya Rifles (44 RR) stepped in to support him, assuring assistance for his
future studies. The timely help boosted Sahil’s confidence and strengthened his
resolve to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor and serving society. His
journey highlights the power of encouragement and stands as an inspiration for
youth across the challenging terrain of South Kashmir. #02 अप्रैल के अपडेट
