The Vicious Circle of Power There comes a moment in history when nations cross a line from which there is no easy return. The current confrontation involving the United States, Israel, and Iran appears to have reached precisely such a point. Yet the meaning of this “point of no return” is different for each of them. For the United States, the crisis challenges a long-held image — that of the unquestioned, sole superpower of the world. For decades, Washington has projected itself as the ultimate arbiter of global order. But the present situation exposes the limits of that power. Military strength, economic sanctions, and diplomatic pressure have not produced clear outcomes. Instead, they have created new complications. The more America intervenes to maintain control, the more the illusion of effortless dominance begins to fade. = For Israel, the stakes are even more existential. The country that once prided itself on deterrence and strategic superiority now faces the possibility of returning to its most basic instinct — survival. Security has always been the core of Israel’s national identity, but prolonged confrontation risks pulling the nation back into a defensive posture reminiscent of its earliest and most vulnerable years. The confidence of overwhelming control is slowly giving way to the anxiety of constant threat. For Iran, however, the psychology is entirely different. Years of sanctions, isolation, and confrontation have produced a hardened mindset: there is little left to lose. When a nation reaches such a stage, the calculations of caution begin to change. Pressure that was once meant to force compliance instead strengthens defiance. In such circumstances, resistance itself becomes a form of national pride. Ironically, each player helped push the others to this dangerous edge. Israel’s pressure helped draw the United States deeper into the conflict. American pressure pushed Iran into a corner where compromise appears increasingly meaningless. Iran’s response, in turn, has intensified Israel’s fears and deepened the cycle of confrontation. Thus a vicious circle has formed. Each nation struggles to escape the mess, yet every move only tightens the knot. Strategic actions meant to solve the problem instead reinforce it. The harder they pull away, the deeper they sink into the quicksand of their own decisions. History has seen such spirals before. They rarely end neatly. More often, they drag everyone involved into consequences far greater than anyone initially intended. #usa #iran # israel #middleeast #📺அரசியல் 360🔴 #🚹உளவியல் சிந்தனை
