Later, the same speculations transform into constraints in reaching out to a solution, because people have already started believing speculations as truth. Secrecy is not diplomacy. Diplomacy is the art of dealing with people without upsetting or offending them in international relations. There's no room for lying in diplomacy. Coercion and undue pressure in any negotiation is undiplomatic in nature. No negotiation would be meaningful under such circumstances. What we see today against the backdrop of the Iran war is the lack of diplomacy on the part of world leaders, especially Trump. When lies are told freely by the leaders, people view them as propaganda. Also, Trump threatens countries and their leaders, and his language is insulting. Thanks to Trump, the various countries of the world which depend upon the USA won't cherish their relationships with the USA, and will be bidding for their times. It's worse in the case of the Iran war, where the tail, Israel, wags the tiger, the USA.
