From Kashmir to Paris: Kashmir’s Bilquis Mir makes history as first Indian Jury member for Olympics   Bilquis Mir has become the first Indian woman from Kashmir to be a jury member in the Paris Olympics. In a letter written by the Indian Olympic Association to the J&K Government, it has been informed that Ms Bilquis Mir, water Sports Promoter, Developer, Athlete, and Jury member of the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association has been nominated as a member of the jury to officiate at the Paris Olympics games. She is the first person from India to be appointed as a jury member at the Paris Olympics. Speaking on her achievement, Biquis Mir said that this is a dream come true for her.
