On 25 May 2026, Hyderabad police arrested 32 year old Kothapalli Yashwanth Reddy after he allegedly drove his newly purchased Volkswagen Virtus at speeds exceeding 200 kmph on the Outer Ring Road near Narsingi in Cyberabad and uploaded the stunt video on social media platform. Police said the incident originally took place on 10 May around 10:30 am, when he drove from Narsingi Toll Plaza towards TGPA Toll Plaza at extremely high speed while recording the drive. The case was registered after a road patrolling officer filed a complaint, and police later traced the accused through social media and technical evidence before seizing the vehicle. #hyderabad
