On 25 May 2026, a incident was reposted from Nauranga Jalalpur village in Mokama near Patna, Bihar, where alleged supporters of the Sonu Monu gang cross checked Bihar Police officials before allowing them to enter a house during a raid linked to a firing case investigation. As per video, policemen stand in a queue while local men checked them before the search operation began, The raid was conducted by teams from Panchmahla and Hathidah police stations after a firing incident involving Mukesh Singh, a local PACS chairman and supporter of former MLA Anant Singh.
