Speed Thrills But Kills 🚫 01st July 2026: A horrifying crash happened near the north portal of Atal Tunnel, Himachal Pradesh, when a Mahindra Scorpio SUV carrying four tourists travelling from Manali toward Lahaul reportedly lost control, broke through roadside barriers and crashed onto an under-construction bridge structure, where exposed steel bars pierced and trapped the vehicle. One person, Kailash (34) of Sikar, Rajasthan, died in the accident, while the injured were identified as Aditya (Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh), Rajendra (Sikar, Rajasthan), and driver Siddharth (Sikar, Rajasthan). Police indicated overspeeding/loss of control as a suspected cause. #manali
