Construction of new Degree College campus in Budgam gains pace, students to get modern facilities In the Chadoora area of Budgam district in Jammu & Kashmir, construction work on the new Government Degree College campus is progressing rapidly, bringing a wave of happiness among local students. Students who had long been demanding better infrastructure are now hopeful of much-needed relief. Established in 2019, the college has so far been functioning from temporary classrooms, where students had to study in limited space with inadequate facilities. As a result, many students were forced to travel to Srinagar and other towns for higher education. The upcoming campus will be a three-storey building equipped with modern facilities.
