The Deputy Chief Minister directed officials to ensure that relief materials and essential services reach flood-affected residents without delay. Meanwhile, continuous heavy rainfall has worsened the situation in Poonch. Several low-lying areas have been waterlogged, while strong water currents and landslides have disrupted normal life in some parts of the district. The administration has intensified relief and rescue operations and is closely monitoring the situation.
