Gold and silver prices witnessed a decline for the second consecutive day on June 2. In the last two days, 24-carat gold dropped by ₹810 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold fell by ₹760. Silver prices also saw a dip after staying stable for three days, settling at ₹2,79,900 per kg in Delhi. Geopolitical uncertainties and global market demand are cited as primary reasons for this fluctuation. Chennai recorded the highest silver price at ₹2,89,900 per kg.
