The Karnataka government has included dental treatments, including root canals, under the Ayushman Bharat-Arogya Karnataka (AB-ArK) scheme. BPL card holders can now avail of these services completely free of charge at registered hospitals, while APL card holders receive a 70% subsidy, paying only 30% of the cost.
