Tragedy struck Gaudakarlakhunta village in Kalahandi district, Odisha, as six people, including four laborers, a house owner, and his son, died due to asphyxiation while working inside a newly constructed septic tank. The victims were overcome by toxic fumes during the removal of centering wood. One other worker remains in critical condition.
