A soldier from Kalanaur, Gurdaspur, identified as Prabhsharan Singh of the 9 Punjab Sikh Regiment, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a train bathroom. The incident occurred while he was traveling from Jammu to Meerut for duty. After he went missing during the journey, GRP tracked his phone location to Jodhpur, where they discovered his body inside the bathroom of the Shalimar Express.
