A fatal road accident occurred near Amblikoppa Cross in Dharwad taluk, where a head-on collision between two bikes claimed the life of a young man named Parashu Ghorpade. Parashu, a resident of Amblikoppa village, died on the spot when his motorcycle was hit by another bike coming from the Nigadi side. Another person sustained injuries in the incident.
