Police recovered crores of rupees buried under a jute field belonging to TMC leader Dipankar Bhattacharya, Chairman of Baduria Municipality in West Bengal. After his arrest from a hotel, Dipankar confessed to hiding the money. Using drones and sniffer dogs, police unearthed trolley bags containing cash. So far, over 2.24 crore rupees have been counted, with expectations that the total could reach 3 crore.
