A group of seven gold miners trapped in a flooded cave in Laos since May 20 has seen its first successful rescue. International teams from Thailand, Australia, and France located five survivors about 300 meters from the cave entrance. One person, suffering from chest pain and exhaustion, was safely brought out on Friday.
