Premium Amrapalli mangoes from Odisha's Dhenkanal district have been exported to London for the first time this year. About 1 ton of mangoes were sent in the first phase, with further orders coming from Germany, France, Italy, and Dubai. The Horticulture Department aims to export 200 metric tons internationally this season. Farmers are benefiting significantly as export prices range from 70-80 rupees per kg compared to local rates of 40-50 rupees.
