The pockets of the country's common citizens have taken a hit once again. In fact, oil companies have today hiked the prices of petrol and diesel yet again. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have raised the prices of petrol and diesel by ₹0.90 per liter this time around. Consequently, the price at petrol pumps has risen to ₹101.38 per liter for petrol and ₹91.27 per liter for diesel. It is worth noting that prior to this, on Friday, May 15, the oil companies had already increased the prices of both petrol and diesel by ₹3 per liter each. This marks the second price hike within just five days. Over this five-day period, the prices of petrol and diesel have collectively risen by ₹3.90 per liter.
