A 75-year-old woman from Worli, Mumbai, was defrauded of ₹5 lakh by a land mafia member, Shailesh Bhoir, in Dombivli's Kumbharkhan Pada area. The accused promised a flat for ₹15 lakh and collected ₹5 lakh as booking amount, claiming developers only accept cash. However, he sold the same flat to another person and refused to refund the money.
