The Crime Branch has arrested Vinod Behera, the prime accused in the murder of GRP Constable Soumya Ranjan Swain in Balianta. The arrest was made in Indupur, Kendrapara. With this, the total number of arrests in the case has reached 16. Previously, the Commissionerate Police had arrested 11 individuals, while the Crime Branch has now arrested 5. The investigation is progressing based on a viral video, and authorities suspect the involvement of over 20 more individuals.
