The construction of the long-awaited 200-foot parallel road from Ekamrakanan to IMA in Bhubaneswar is nearly complete. The Works Department plans to open the road to the public within 10 days. While the main road, dividers, and drainage work are finished, about 300 meters of service road remains. Eviction drives have started near Chunukoli Slum to clear remaining obstacles. The stretch will feature EV charging stations, bus stops, and a decorative water fountain near Ekamrakanan.
