Following a drop in global crude oil prices and easing tensions in West Asia, Nepal has significantly reduced the prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG starting July 1. Petrol prices dropped by 20 Nepalese Rupees per liter, while diesel decreased by 30 Rupees. Additionally, domestic LPG cylinder prices were cut by 100 Rupees. India also saw a reduction in commercial cylinder prices. Nepal relies heavily on Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) for its petroleum needs through a long-term agreement. https://argusnews.in/business/nepal-petrol-diesel-price-cut-july-2026 #creator program
