Archaeologists in Barcelona discovered 25 human skeletons, including the remains of medieval Queen Elisenda of Montcada, in the 14th-century Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Pedralbes. While the Queen was buried simply in a wooden box, nearby remains showed signs of violence, including men stabbed to death and a pregnant woman.
