Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has announced that the party will move court against the rejection of nomination papers of BJP candidates in municipal elections. He alleged that papers of 21 candidates in Batala, 10 in Moga, and 11 in Barnala were canceled at the behest of the state government.
