The Sikh Federation UK has demanded accountability from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and Hampshire Police regarding the Henry Nowak murder case. They allege that authorities failed to clarify that the weapon used by the convict was a Persian-origin blade and not a sacred Sikh Kirpan. While the convict has been sentenced, the Sikh community expressed concern over the misinformation which led to calls for banning the Kirpan and an increase in verbal and physical attacks against Sikhs. Hampshire Police have now confirmed the weapon was not a Kirpan. http://www.quamiekta.com/2026/06/02/66376/ #Creator program
