Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has announced major reforms in the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) policy for cooperative banks. The crop loan limit for wheat has been raised to ₹30,000 per acre and for sugarcane to ₹1 lakh per acre. Nine new crops, including fruits and vegetables, are now covered. Additionally, banks will no longer take blank security cheques from farmers.
