Cuttack's Jagatpur police have arrested a Maulana named Sheikh Nazimul Arfin alias Hafiz from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, after 8 years of fleeing. The accused was allegedly involved in a 2018 rape case where he assaulted a woman under the pretext of performing rituals to cure her husband's alcohol addiction. After the victim filed a complaint despite death threats, the accused went into hiding.
