An investigation has intensified into allegations of misappropriation of donation money and jewelry at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Following a complaint by a Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member, an FIR has been filed against 6 to 8 individuals at the Ayodhya police station. The State-constituted Special Investigation Team (SIT) has submitted its preliminary report after questioning several individuals, including Trust Secretary Champat Rai.
