The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has introduced a new central contract policy for 2026, making domestic first-class cricket mandatory for national selection. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced that players skipping domestic tournaments will not be eligible for contracts. The board replaced the old A, B, C, D categories with a five-track system based on formats and performance levels. This move aims to improve the team's performance following recent failures in ICC tournaments and Test cricket. White-ball coach Mike Hussey has supported this decision. https://kalamdaily.com/pcb-warns-pakistan-cricketers-no-central-contracts-without-domestic-cricket #creator program
