K. Annamalai, the former BJP President of Tamil Nadu, has resigned from the party. His resignation has been accepted by National Chairman Nitin Naveen. Annamalai was reportedly unhappy after being overlooked during the state assembly elections. Before resigning, he met Amit Shah on June 2nd.
