Police in Gajapati district have arrested Mosa Majhi, a former Sarpanch and current State Secretary of the BJD, for his alleged involvement in ganja smuggling. Led by SDPO Rakesh Kumar Sahu, a 40-member police team raided Majhi's residence, seizing a car, 55 ATM cards, 6 bank passbooks, and land documents. Majhi is accused of providing shelter to drug mafias and facilitating the illegal trade. The SDPO, recognized for his anti-drug efforts, had been tracking Majhi for some time.
