The Delhi government has introduced the draft EV Policy 2026-30 to combat pollution and promote electric vehicles. Under this policy, buyers of electric two-wheelers can receive up to ₹30,000 in subsidy, while three-wheeler buyers can get up to ₹50,000. Additionally, a scraping incentive of ₹1 lakh is offered for BS-IV four-wheelers. The policy mandates that only electric autos will be registered from January 2027 and only electric two-wheelers from April 2028. Subsidies will be transferred directly to bank accounts via DBT, and customers can enjoy a 10% discount on road tax and registration fees for EVs priced up to ₹30 lakh. https://www.dharitri.com/ev-policy-2026-2030/ #creator program
