Justice Mahabir Singh Sindhu, a sitting judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, passed away at the age of 59 at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. He had been battling a serious illness for some time and breathed his last at 2:50 AM. His last rites will be performed with state honors today at 5 PM in his native village Masudpur, located in the Hansi district of Haryana.
