The draft voter list has been released in Odisha following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. Around 20.12 lakh voters have been excluded from the list, primarily consisting of 8.32 lakh deceased and 10.07 lakh shifted or absent voters. Odisha saw a 6.02% reduction in its total voter count, the highest among four states that released draft lists. The Chief Electoral Officer stated that out of 3.33 crore voters, 3.13 crore submitted their enumeration forms.
