A tragic fire at Sharma General Store in Bhoa, Pathankot, resulted in the deaths of a father and son. Radhe Sham (60) and his son Dikshit (31) were attempting to extinguish a fire on the store's first floor when they were overcome by thick smoke and subsequently suffered fatal burns. Local residents managed to pull them out after breaking open the doors, but they were declared dead at the Civil Hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest a short circuit as the cause of the fire.
